This beautiful cabinet is profusely inlaid with flower-filled urns, birds, ribbon-tied garlands and scrolling acanthus.  Front is flanked by two fluted baluster turned columns with ormolu capitelli.  The cabinet is surmounted with a marble top and rests on a plinth base terminating in elegant toupie feet.

ca. 1830 - 1850 French Antique Napoleon III Dresser

This is an absolutely lovely circa 1830-1850 French antique Napoleon III dresser.  This maple dresser came from the home of a former Beverly Hills antiques dealer.  Unfortunately, this dresser has been neglected for several years and the condition has been severely compromised.  The rear leg needs repair and one handle requires replacing.  Otherwise a very nice piece.  Marble top.  Priced at a fraction of its appraised value.

This hand-woven rug is from the estate of a very high-end Los Angeles collector of Native American crafts and artwork.

This consigned item - a Storm Pattern Navajo rug - is in excellent condition with no holes, stains, or defects of any kind.  Very tight weave with beautiful multi-colored design.  When found in the estate, this item was tagged "Navajo Storm Pattern, Rebecca, Ganado."  I do no know who Rebecca is, but it could possibly be Rebecca Paul, but this has not been confirmed.  Ganado region is located in Arizona.

Measures approximately 26.5" x 39.8".  An incredible Native American work of art.  Absolutely wonderful!

Early 1900's Antique German/Bavarian 4/4 Violin

This is a wonderful estate find.  When dug up in the attic, it was in solid condition, but I was in the dark as to age and background.  I took this to one of Southern California's most respected violin makers near the Claremont Colleges for some information and to get this back to playing condition.

After approximately $350 of refurbishing, and a new case, this violin and bow were brought back to life.  It plays beautifully and looks great.  The information I received was that this is a quality violin with corner blocks, and was made in the late 19th or early 20th century for mass appeal.  This comes from southern Germany region, probably Bavaria, (bow is not a match and is a bit shorter than a standard full-size bow).  In addition, they categorized this violin as a 4/4, but it is slightly smaller than a 4/4, but it is NOT a 3/4.

The violin shop determined that the violin's current value is approximately $2000.

Again, this has been completely refurbished with new strings, saddle, tailpiece, soundpost and restringing of bow.

Violin, bow, and new padded case (tags still attached).
